Looking for a sweet, low-sew amigurumi doll with a whole wardrobe for dress-up fun? Meet Snowdrop Fluffykins!
Snowdrop Fluffykins is a large bunny amigurumi with removable clothing and accessories. She's nearly 15 inches tall, and has a beautifully felted look using Feels Like a Dream yarn. Here's a peek at the unique yarn, some crocheting in real-time, and Snowdrop being dressed up in all her different accessories!
This pattern includes:
- Bunny doll
- Bonnet with ear holes
- Buttoned shawl
- Dress skirt
- Boots
- Crossbody bag
All of these dress-up items are crocheted in one piece, and this pattern is almost completely no-sew! The only sewing required is to attach Snowdrop’s ears to her head.
It has a sweet, whimsical, fairytale, woodland, Waldorf, prairie revival, and cottagecore aesthetic and style.
More Dress-up Doll Patterns
If you have a little one that loves dress-up and pretend play, I have more patterns in store for you! Here are additional doll designs with removable clothing and/or accessories:
Recommended Yarn
This sweet doll is designed with Lion Brand Yarn's Feels Like a Dream yarn, which is soft as can be! It's a bulky weight 5 yarn made of 100% nylon with a silky-smooth texture that glides as you crochet. It creates a "felted" look when crocheted, so you can get that fuzzy texture without having to spend hours brushing yarn out with a dog brush!
It might be a little tricky to work with at first if you've never crocheted with fur yarn before, but I have a blog post on tips to crochet with fluffy yarn! If you'd like to watch a video on this, I recommend my Crocheting with Fluffy Yarn video, where I give tips and demonstrate how it's done.
Of course, other yarn alternatives to this project include blanket yarn, chenille velvet yarn, acrylic yarn, cotton yarns, etc. You can create different types of "looks" based off the yarn you choose!
