Pocket Alien & UFO · Submissions & Results! · Creator Challenge #8

 

Dear fellow crocheters,

I'm pleased to announce that the RESULTS for Sweet Softies' eighth annual Creator Challenge are here!  This year, the featured pattern is the Pocket Alien & UFO. My little aliens were so excited to meet their new siblings and take over the Earth!

It's the best yarny invasion ever. Little crocheted aliens and UFOs from this pattern landed on and explored our world, as documented in the Sweet Softies FB group and on Instagram!

It was amazing to see all the creativity and talent that came with customizing your aliens and UFOs! The yarn combinations, yarn fibers used, and other embellishments really made each alien and UFO set unique and special. 

I sincerely hope all participants had a fun time making their mini space invaders!

Cookies Kwan (in the Sweet Softies Facebook Group) made a Hello Kitty-themed alien! Is this not the cutest thing ever?! It works so well with the pattern!
