The Pearbody Doll Collection is a new line of amigurumi dolls designed by Sweet Softies! The very first member is Bearbushka, who was released in late November 2024.
Features
These crochet dolls have:
- Triangular, pear-shaped bodies
- Short, stubby legs
- Long, dangly arms
Some of these dolls will also come with their own removable clothing and accessories!
Yarn
The Pearbody dolls are designed using Hobbii's Twister Solid XL yarn, which is a medium weight 4 yarn that's a cotton-acrylic blend. It creates a beautiful and crisp stitch definition. Any cotton or acrylic yarn would be suitable for this pattern.
Additional worsted weight yarn recommendations include:
- Lion Brand Heartland (100% acrylic with beautiful, heathered yarn)
- Lion Brand's 24/7 Cotton Yarn (100% cotton and will produce crisp stitch definition)
- Brava Worsted or Caron Simply Soft (100% acrylic, sturdy, and pretty good bang for your buck!)
However, you can experiment with different types of fibers for a different look. For instance, using a super bulky weight chenille velvet yarn can create a plush look. Or, opt for the slightly textured Feels Like Bliss yarn for a soft and furry look.

Blossom the Bunny is a sweet, Holland lop bunny that has removable clothing and accessories. She wears a bonnet, cardigan, dress, and cozy scarf.Release date: Coming soon!
