With the holidays just around the corner, I'm thrilled to share with you the perfect little Christmas crochet pattern!
The No-Sew Christmas Tree is a fun crochet pattern featuring a tall fir tree with a tree skirt. It is crocheted seamlessly in one piece, making it a relaxing project to work up without having to do any sewing.
This mini tree is the perfect desk topper and decor for the winter holidays. It doubles up as a pincushion; inserted sewing pins will look like tiny ornaments! A truly lovely product to sell at Fall and Winter craft fairs and markets!
Decorating Your Tree
This crochet tree looks beautiful as-is in its natural state, but is also fun to decorate with mini accessories. Examples include:
- Mini bow appliques
- Beads and buttons for ornaments
- Glittery pipe cleaner or eyelash yarn for a garland
- Glitter for an enchanting and magical look
- White powder for a snowy and frosted look
- Sewing pins if you're using this tree as a pincushion! (Using pearlized sewing pins in mixed colors or single colors, would look gorgeous on your little tree)
Recommended Yarn
This free crochet pattern was designed using Hobbii's Tea Time Christmas yarn, which is a medium weight acrylic yarn. It features variegated shades of lighter and darker greens, working up beautifully to look like a real, natural tree! As you can see, I used the green color for the tree, and the red color for the tree skirt. The "star" was added on with Hobbii Friends Cotton 8/4 yarn.
With that said, you're welcome to use other types of yarns! To keep this tree small (about 4 inches in height), I recommend a medium weight acrylic or cotton yarn. You can also use bulkier plush yarn to make this tree larger!
