If you love owls as well as nifty bags to carry with you on your adventures, you'll love this crochet pattern. Check out my newest crochet design, the Mountain Owl Bag!
The Mountain Owl Bag is a 2-in-1 no-sew crossbody bag and mini tote bag. It is the perfect size for carrying daily essentials on adventures! Recommended Materials
This pattern was designed with Hobbii Ribbon yarn, which is a bulky weight 5 yarn that is sturdy and has very little stretch to it. This makes the yarn perfect for home decor projects and for making bags, totes, purses, and pouches that we wouldn't want stretching out of shape after use. It was a fun yarn to work with, and I admire the beautiful stitch definition that it produces!
These swivel lobster claw clasps come in an assortment of colors, suitable for attaching to the long straps in a purse like this! I used silver clasps, but I definitely think gold or bronze would've worked better since my owl's colors are generally on the warmer side.
Uses
- Perfect as a birthday gift or Christmas holiday gift for animal lovers and owl lovers
- Great for Harry Potter fans as well; customize this pattern to make a Hedwig by changing the colors!
- Sell this bag at craft fairs, markets, or boutiques
