Kitty Cat Bookmark · Free Crochet Pattern

The Kitty Cat Bookmark is a quick, easy, and completely no-sew project from Sweet Softies’ Chapter Keepers Collection!

LINKS

This whimsical and cute design uses very little yarn, making it the perfect scrap yarn project. It’s also an instant-gratification project, as there’s no sewing and it works up fast. Featuring a kitten’s head on one end and tail on the other, it adds a cozy aesthetic and touch of yarn to any book.

This pattern is not only practical and lightweight but also makes a thoughtful, handmade gift for cat lovers, teachers, readers, book lovers, and bookworms alike. Whether for personal use, gifting (such as a Teacher Appreciation gift), or selling at craft fairs, the Kitty Cat Bookmark is a lovely way to bring a bit of feline charm to every page you turn!

About the Pattern

  • Fast to work up
  • Easy / Beginner-friendly
  • No-sew
  • Great teacher appreciation gift, or gift for book lovers and cat lovers!
  • Perfect product to sell at year round markets and craft fairs (Please remember to credit my design with my name and site if you are selling, such as: "Pattern design by Sweet Softies, www.sweetsofties.com")

Recommended Yarn

This pattern is designed using fingering weight 1 yarn, making it lightweight and delicate! My recommended yarn for this project is Friends Cotton 8/4 from Hobbii. If a bulkier yarn weight is used, the finished bookmark will be larger.
