Want to crochet something that's both useful and cute? I'm excited to share with you my newest design...the Kiki Kitty Pouch! It's beginner-friendly and completely no-sew!

LINKS

The Kiki Kitty Pouch is a quick and easy no-sew crochet bag. It can be worn as a necklace or a crossbody purse. This crochet pattern features big round paws, dangly arms and legs, and a set of cute cat ears. This animal bag is the perfect birthday gift or Christmas holiday gift for cat lovers who have a penchant for kawaii or whimsical styles.

About the Pattern

  • Fast to work up
  • Easy / Beginner-friendly
  • Bag size: 3.5” (W), 6.5” (H)
  • Versatile and easily customized with different yarn colors, as well as with add-ons like accessories, appliques, buttons, and other embellishments!

Pattern Extras

If you'd like to "dress up" your kitty, you might like these cute add-ons:
If you have a penchant for floral things, you can even crochet 5 or 6 mini flowers to create a "flower crown" accessory for your pouch! I think it'd look beautiful in all the same color, or as different colors. Simply embroider the flowers to the head, just below the ears.

Recommended Yarn

This pattern is designed using super bulky weight 6 chenille velvet yarn, which results in a very soft and plush texture. My recommended yarn for this project is Toucan, Honey Bunny, or Baby Snuggle from Hobbii. Blanket yarn can also be used for this pattern.
