Get Ready For Winter With These Fashion Updates

The temperature is about to drop, so make sure that you have your winter wardrobe up todate with the additions you will find below.

Heavy coat

Thr first thing you’ll want to get for this winter is a coat that will keep you warm. Often this means investing in a heavy wool coat as these are excellent at keeping the cold out and the heat in. Although if you want something that will keep you protected from the icey rain, then a waterproof option might be the best choice.

When chosoing a winter caot, always remember to opt for a neutral colour, as this will ensure it matches with the rest of the clothing in your wardrobe. Be sure to pick a style and cut that works for you too, with boxier cuts being super popular this season.

Gloves & Scarf

Other items that you will want to make sure you have in your wardrobe include gloves and scarves. Gloves or mittens if you so choose are great for the winter because they will help keep your hands and fingers warm in low temperatures. Although, its well worth investing in some that are either fingerless or conductive, as this will allow you to still use your touchscreen phone while wearing them.

Oversized chunky scarfs are especially in fashion this year, and they can be worn over the top of a chunky coat for maxim effect. Alternatively, you could try making your own scarf from a pattern like this. Then not only will you inject alittle fun into your outfit you get the pleasure of telling people you hand made it too.

Hat

Its always smart to wear a hat or head covering in the cold, because it will keep plenty of heat in your body. Wollen bobble hats are a popular choice, as are baseball caps. But if you want some extra protection then a artisan made in USA thermal hood can be a better choice. This is because it’s not only made in amore sustainable way, but also covers everything but your eyes for maximum protection against the cold.

Fleece/ hoodies

Inveting in a good hoody or fleece for the winter is always a sound idea too. Hoodies are great because you can use them to snuggle up inside, or protect you from light rain or snow outside. Fleeces are beloved because they offer lightweight warmth in the winter, that you can layer with other items when necessary.

Bag

Last of all do not forget that you’ll also need a suitable bag for the winter. This means one that is waterproof and protects the contents from all the bad weather. On the upper end of the scale we have leather bags that have been treated with waterproof wax. Although its worth noting you will need to minatin them properly for them to continue to work. A more budget option is a waterproof rucksack. Be sure to check that the zips and seals on the model you choose are waterproof as well as the material it is made from.
